I pre-ordered Lore of the Wilds because of the synopsis that boils down to: an enchanted library, two handsome Fae, and one human who brings them all together. I’m a little more than 50% through and I like the story and the world, but it’s a little slow and certainly not living up to the romance part of romantasy.
Also, a bit of an underwhelming pick for Fairyloot’s first Romantasy Book Box subscription.
This one just didn’t work for me. Full review to come!
