“Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!”

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m about 60% of the way through A Fate of Wrath & Flame and I’m really enjoying it. Tucker warned that it’s a slow burn and it definitely is. Tucker has taken her time teasing out the world and characters.

Just when I was hoping something would happen to grab my attention again, a big twist was revealed and I haven’t been able to stop reading since.

The Bridge Kingdom duology has all the makings of a great spicy, enemies-to-lovers fantasy novel, but misses the mark time and time again. I loved the main character and the world building, but Aren is barely developed as a character and his romance with Lara is lacking.

Three Stars

ARCs have been coming to me fast and furious the past couple of days, so I’ve had to put my original reading plans on hold. I got 30 pages into Zodiac Academy: Ruthless Fae by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti before I had to put it on hold when A Fate of Wrath & Flame landed on my Kindle.

Next up will be the fourth novel in the All In series by Helena Hunting, A Kiss for a Kiss. The synopsis revealed it’s a surprise pregnancy novel, which I am NOT a fan of but Hunting is an automatic buy author for me so I’m willing to give A Kiss for a Kiss a chance. Then I’ll be reading the final book in the All of Me Duet by Siobhan Davis.

What about you? What are your three Ws this Wednesday? Have you read any of the books mentioned above?
