I Flipping Love You has cemented my love for Helena Hunting. Her novels are always laugh out loud funny, maintain the perfect balance of serious plot and frivolous extras, and steamy connections. I Flipping Love You is all of this and more packed in the unique setting of an HGTV lovers dream: house renovation.

I Flipping Love You is told from two perspectives, Rian and Pierce. Both perspectives are well written in that they are distinguishable from her each other. They both have a distinct voice and offer hilarious moments of their own. From the first few pages, Hunting had me laughing out loud at work. Let me tell you, it’s hard to read discreetly when what you’re reading has you laughing every few pages.

What I enjoyed most about this novel was the unique setting. I’ve never read a romance set in the house flipping business. I love watching HGTV, so when I saw this I couldn’t resist and I’m glad I didn’t. Hunting is able to balance fun and serious perfectly within this setting creating a unique romantic comedy.

Rian and Pierce’s chemistry sizzles off the pages. When they first meet, they have instant chemistry that isn’t always the easiest to write, but Hunting pulls it off flawlessly. Rian’s prickly personality and Pierce’s layback attitude make for some fun back and forth banter that kept me flipping the pages.

Overall, I Flipping Love You is a fantastic addition to the Shacking Up series. If you’re looking for a fun, laugh out loud romance with a serious side, and chemistry between the main characters that is second to none, be sure to check out I Flipping Love You.
