Monthly Wrap-Up | February 2023

Hello everyone!

During the month of February I read 7 books. That’s a little on the light side for me, but work has been exhausting and Hogwarts Legacy has also been consuming a lot of my time.

I’ve also been having a hard time finding motivation to work on the blog. Hence, why this post is half finished. I usually include a snippet from my review, but couldn’t find the time.

So, here are some stats!

Number of pages read: 2864
Number of print books: 3
Number of e-books: 4
Favourite quote of the month:

“For a year, she would stand close to the fire and know what it was like to burn.” – Chain of Gold, Cassandra Clare

Without further ado…. here are my top two favourite books of the month from differing genres.

The Summer Girl is a fun and spicy novel about a summer fling that turns into something more. It’s not the best of the series, but it’s a close second.

Four Stars

The Serpent and the Wings of Night is worth the hype. It’s epic, action packed, and features enough spice to keep us fantasy romance fans happy. I will definitely be reading more of Broadbent’s work.

Five Stars

<

Chain of Gold (The Last Hours #1) – Cassandra Clare

Secretly Yours (A Vine Mess #1) – Tessa Bailey

Rogue (A Prep Series #2) – Elle Kennedy

The Foxglove King (The Nightshade Kingdom #1) – Hannah F. Whitten

The Little Prince – Antoine de Saint-Exupery
