Hook, Line, and Sinker will easily make my top ten books of 2022. It’s a fun friends-to-lovers romance with so much angst and tension and a payoff worth the wait.
<

An Honest Lie is Fisher’s best mystery/thriller novel yet. It hooks readers with an engaging plot and a strong female main character while challenging misogyny and the patriarchy.
<

Book Lovers has renewed my interest in Henry’s novels with its captivating characters, emotionally heavy relationships, and tasteful spice.
<

Every Summer After is easily the best novel I’ve read so far this year. The emotions are palpable as Fortune guides readers through this story of friendship, love, heartbreak, and forgiveness.
<

All the Young Dudes is a story that will stay with me forever and have a lasting impact. I’m already so obsessed that I started to teach myself how to bind books so that I can bind these three volumes for my collection.

The Last Enemy: The Howling Nights is the Marauders era fiction I am living for. So far, my headcanon has the events of All the Young Dudes between Sirius and Remus happening at the same time.

The Lost Metal was everything I wanted from the conclusion to Era Two of Mistborn while opening up the Cosmere in a way we haven’t seen before. Sanderson wasn’t joking when he said the gloves are off. We readers are in for a reading experience of a lifetime.
<

The Mistletoe Motive is the perfect Christmas novella that will keep you warm during the cold December nights.

The Writing Retreat surprised me with its late entry onto my top books of 2022 list. It’s full of twists and turns I didn’t see coming with characters who feel real and enthusiastic about the writing process.

What was your favourite book of 2022?
My top fav of 2022 was Tender is the Flesh by Agustyna Bazterrica, but I like this list you made, see one or two I’d not mind reading for a cozy afternoon or something
I recently added Tender of the Flesh to my TBR, so I’m really happy to see it was your favourite. Happy reading! 🙂
