Haven’t read the previous novel, Dark Fae? Check out my review here!

There’s more to my brother’s murder than I realised…

Shadows in the halls, mysteries lurking around every corner.

Whoever killed him is covering their tracks well.

And now I’m walking a dangerous line between getting close to the four kings for information and wanting to crawl deeper under their skin for my own desires.

I can’t trust anyone.

I can’t let my guard down.

And I must keep the urges of my body separate from my heart.

But I’m starting to break all of my own rules.

I just hope I’m not falling for my brother’s killer.

Like I mentioned in my review of Dark Fae, this series focuses more on the relationships between the characters rather than the world or plot. Though, that’s not to say the world building and plot are sacrificed for the sake of developing this complex relationship.

Savage Fae follows Elise as she continues to hunt for her brother’s killer while developing deeper relationships with her suspects.

Savage Fae is SPICY and starts to embrace the reverse harem relationship more than its predecessor. Peckham and Valenti strike the perfect balance between developing the plot and developing Elise’s growing feelings for the boys. Both of these aspects of the novel have become intricately linked creating delicious tension that has slowly turned into genuine connections between the characters.

Overall, Savage Fae dives deep into Elise’s relationship with the boys while developing the plot leaving readers with more questions and a need to learn more about the boys.
