I’m a little more than halfway through Misery and I’m enjoying it more as I read. I had a hard time connecting with the writing style at the beginning, however as the novel progressed I clicked with it and have not been able to stop reading. Misery will NOT be my last Stephen King novel.

The Bone Shard Emperor focused more on the world and lore than its predecessor. Where The Bone Shard Daughter focused on establishing the characters and the magic, The Bone Shard Emperor expanded the world and lore setting up what is going to be an explosive finale. There’s still a lot yet to be revealed and I can’t wait!
