The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I had high hopes for this one. Friends-to-lovers, forbidden romance, brother’s best friend. These are some of my favourite tropes, but The Crush is boring.

I’m 50% through and nothing has really happened. The dialogue is sappy and the male love interest and her brother treat her like she’s a 14-year-old girl.

A Court of Silver Flames is a beautiful character study that features mental health and coping as a central themes. Watching Nesta build a support system then proceed to fail over and over again is frustrating yet rewarding simultaneously. This isn’t a quick redemption story. Instead, it’s an intimate look at how trauma can wreck someone so thoroughly and how difficult it is to claw your way back.

Five Stars

Withering Hope wasn’t as good as I was hoping it to be. It featured a lackluster romance that fizzled rather than sizzled. Despite my dislike of the novel, I will still watch the Passionflix movie whenever it comes out.

Two Stars

<

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this one! Though, I’m mostly picking it up based on Daniel Greene’s suggestion.

What about you? What are your three Ws this Wednesday? Have you read any of the books mentioned above?
