Forever Wild takes place only a few months after Wild at Heart with Calla and Jonah preparing for the holidays with their respective parents visiting for the first time.

Tucker paints Alaska as picturesque during the holidays that will make readers smile and feel all warm and fuzzy. The family dynamic is complicated and relatable. Nobody’s family is perfect and neither is Calla and Jonah’s. Despite these few moments, there isn’t much drama or angst. Forever Wild is truly a novella about friendship, family, love, and connecting during the holidays.

Overall, Forever Wild is the perfect novella to curl up with by the fire with some hot cocoa and Christmas music playing in the background. It’s a heartwarming and pure story filled with unconditional love and happiness.
