The first chapter of this novel is made up entirely of exposition. Twenty-four long pages… The main character, El, is slightly annoying. She’s brash and stubbornly independent.
I was going through some Goodreads reviews for this and it’s not looking too promising. I’m hoping the next few chapters pick up.

I was approved for the partial galley on Netgalley even though the chapters are available on the publisher’s website. I dislike reading on a computer screen, so I just about died when I was approved since Tor never approves me. This partial galley has the first 19 chapters. I’ve only read a couple, but I’m in love already! Surprise. Surprise.

The end of this novel is bananas. I forgot how crazy it gets. What is there to say other than Oathbringer is 1200 pages of epic Fantasy writing that is absolutely flawless.

I was approved for the ARC of Little Lies and I am super excited. I need an angsty new adult romance in my life.
