The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

currently reading
midnight sun
As of writing this (August 11 at 10am), I’m 58% of the way through. When I first started reading Midnight Sun, I thought I was going to blow through it quickly. Unfortunately, it’s a drag. Being in Edward’s head is creepy. He’s verbose and his thoughts range from tedious to stalker tendencies. You’re probably thinking “what did you expect?” and you’d be right. I just wasn’t expecting it to be this creepy.
I will finish it eventually and write a full and probably long winded review. I also plan on doing a little comparison between Twilight and Midnight Sun.

I’m not the biggest fan of short stories, so in order to appreciate them I have to read only one a day. So far, I’ve read four stories from this anthology. Out of the four I’ve read so far, here are my favourites:
Love at First Fight by K.L. Grayson – five stars
Something Like Kismet by Ginger Scott – four stars

Haven’t read the first novel, From Blood and Ash? Check out my review here!

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire picks up almost immediately after the events of From Blood and Ash. Poppy has refused Casteel’s proposition and remains under lock and key. A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire continues to develop the world and characters as Armentrout sets up what is going to be a spectacular fantasy series with heavy romantic elements. It will leave you begging for more.

what's next

I’m going to need a pallet cleanser after Midnight Sun, so I’m going to pick up Kiss My Cupcake. I only recently realized I was approved for the ARC. So, happy belated release day to Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting!
After that, I’ll then dive into my reread of The Way of Kings!

Kiss My Cupcake – Helena Hunting

The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive #1) – Brandon Sanderson

What about you? What are your three Ws this Wednesday? Have you read any of the books mentioned above?

    1. I hope you enjoy more than I am right now. I’ve been trying so hard to remember my experience of reading the leaked copy to see if they’re similar. I wish I would have kept it because I remember LOVING it.

  1. I’m not sure whether I’m going to read Midnight Sun and I’m waiting to read people’s reviews on it tbh

  2. Yikes, Midnight Sun… doesn’t sound like a jam at all! I read Twilight so long ago that I forgot all the details coz I never got into the whole ‘fandom’ so Midnight Sun never piqued my interest. I’m liking the look of Kingdom of Flesh and Fire though, so I might check out book one 😀 Happy reading!
