I’m almost half through despite starting this the 14th. It’s slow paced and the characters are awful. I first read this may years ago and didn’t like it. Now, I wouldn’t say I dislike it. I’ll probably bump up my previous star rating of two stars to three.

I’m so happy that I’m finally getting around to these novellas. They’ve been on my TBR for far too long. As fo writing this, I’m only two chapters in but I’m already hooked.
Mockingjay is a masterclass in character work. This is my third time rereading it and I’ve found a new appreciation for it. Though it differs greatly from the previous novels, Mockingjay gives readers the cold hard truth regarding the trauma the characters endured and the lasting effects.
I decided to reread All Systems Red because I’ve finally found the time to read all the novellas. All Systems Red was a unique novella that sets up future stories that I will be definitely checking out. If you’re looking for a quick read that’s fun and unique, look no further!
As soon as my copy of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes comes in I’ll be dropping whatever I’m reading to pick it up. I am beyond excited. I’ve reread the original trilogy and watched the movies!
