I’m about 50% through Legacy of Ash and I’m having a very hard time finding the motivation to continue. The world is huge and there are a lot of characters. It took me about 150 pages to finally settle into the world and get a firm grasp on the characters. The story is interesting, but there are too many perspectives so the story feel fractured.

I’m truly at a loss for what I should read after House of Earth and Blood. I know it’s going to put me in a crazy hangover, so I’m thinking I should read a completely different genre. Kisscut shoots to the top of the list or a romance of some sort. Though, I’m thinking I should take advantage of the “time off” and read some of the bigger fantasy novels I’ve been putting off for lack of time.

I’ve decided to put aside my March review books for now and jump into April/May review books that I’m really excited for. So for the next month I’m concentrating on “want to” instead of “should.” Well see how that goes! I am sad to hear Legacy of Ash is so tough to get through🙁
That’s probably a good idea. Now is the time to read what you want.
I’m also sad about Legacy of Ash. I really thought I’d love it.
Current: Dark Skies
Finished: A Drop of Magic
Next: Most likely Gilded Wolves
I’ve never heard of A Drop of Magic before now. It sounds good.
Happy reading!
