Hello and welcome to my February 2020 TBR!
This month I plan on keep things light. If you read my previous post, you know I’m starting a new job this month that will demand more of my time so I don’t want to stress myself out more than I need to.
With it being February I realized I should have some romance novels planned, but I didn’t even think about it when I planned my TBR. I’ll probably throw some in, but I’m not sure which since I’ve had a hard time finding good ones lately. If you’ve got some recommendations, let me know in the comments!
So without further ado…
The Last Smile in Sunder City – Luke Arnold
Fallen (Will Trent #5) – Karin Slaughter
Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) – Cassandra Clare
The Shadow Saint (The Black Iron Legacy #2) – Gareth Hanrahan
I haven’t read any of these – The Shadow Saint I probably won’t because I wasn’t a big fan of the first book. But Follow Me looks really interesting!
So far, The Shadow Saint is very different than The Gutter Prayer. It really opens up the world.
Fingers crossed Follow Me isn’t a disappointment!
Interesting. Does it follow the same characters as before?
Kinda. Eladora, the scholar woman, is one of the main view points and two new people. This one is slower and has more politics
Well, now I’m more convinced than ever it’s not for me, but I’ll look forward to your review! Lol
Glad I could help haha 😜
Shadow Saint was good, a little slow at first because it felt as though I had to discover the world afresh and there was a lot of politics that slowed the read down some, but overall it’s an impressive series so far I think.
Lynn 😀
I recently finished it and agree 100%. I was slightly disappointed when I realized we weren’t really following the same characters from the previous novel, but I did enjoy all the world building.
