Hello everyone!
I came across this tag over at The Book Dutchesses and figured it would be the perfect opportunity to reorient myself for the end of the year to figure out what I need to before January.
Are there any books you started this year, you need to finish?
I don’t really start books without finishing them unless I’m DNF’ing them. So, no.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
I love reading Fantasy novels around this time of the year. I would be remiss to not mention Harry Potter
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
The third and final book in the Gods of Blood and Powder trilogy.
Release Date: December 3, 2019
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
As soon I this edition of Clockwork Angel was released, I knew I had to get it. I haven’t reread the series since it was first release, so I’m excited to read it again.
I’m not sure if I’ll have time to get to First Lord’s Fury with the holidays coming up since it’s a chunkier book.
Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite?
Starsight won’t be a shock, but I had to include it somewhere!
I originally included Gideon the Ninth in this answer, but after the revelations about the author in the Twitter thread I took it off my TBR.
Have you already made reading plans for 2020?
I usually like to keep my reading plans light so I don’t stress myself out.
Last year, I put my Goodreads goal at 50 knowing I would pass that easily, which I did. This year, since I have a new job and less time to read I’ll be putting my goal at 50 again without the expectation of passing it.
I’ve been wanting a reading planner for sometime now, but I wasn’t able to find a plan that suited my needs. Until I found Megan’s planner over at Little Inklings Design. This planner has everything a bookworm needs. Check it out! She still has a few left.
Looks like the Twitter thread was removed, but I had heard about it. I have SO MANY books I’m trying to read by the end of the year! It’s a little sad that I can’t get to all of them😉
I wonder why it was removed. Hmm.
Right!? I’m stressing about it haha.
That planner is so cute! And the twitter thread on Muir is really gross. I think I’m going to have to kick it off the TBR now too. I’ll be excited to see your thoughts on Prince of Fools!!
I couldn’t believe it. I was really looking forward to that book. Oh well! 🤷🏻♀️
🤞🏻 that I like it!
I was kind of meh. I think the premise was cool but I wasn’t sure how it would actually play out. Sometimes a whacky premise isn’t enough.
