Monthly TBR | August 2019

Hello everyone!

I decided to do another monthly TBR because it worked out so well for me last month. I read everything I was planning on reading except Snakeskins, which is why you’ll find it here! This is a pretty ambitious list, but I want to keep my options open.

The Testaments by Margaret Atwood comes out September 10th, so I want to reread it. I might wait until the last minute, but we’ll see!

So…. without further ado…

Triptych (Will Trent #3) – Karain Slaughter

Snakeskins – Tim Major

The Lathe of Heaven – Ursula K. Guin

The Handmaid’s Tale – Margaret Atwood

The Bone Ships (The Tide Child #1) – R.J. Barker

Captain’s Fury (Codex Alera #4) – Jim Butcher

Wanderers – Chuck Wendig

Twisted Betrayal (Rydeville High Elite #2) – Siobhan Davis

Have you read any of these? What did you think? What’s on your August TBR?

  1. This is a great looking TBR! Wanderers looks and sounds really good. I’m also keen to read more Karin Slaughter since I’ve only read one book by her but really enjoyed it (it was so insanely twisted and shocking)! Hope you manage to get through many of these 🙂

    1. Wanderers is fantastic! I recently finished it and rated it 4 stars.
Slaughter is now my go-to author for mysteries and thrillers. I may have gone a little crazy and ordered a couple of her books 🤷🏻‍♀️

    1. I’ve got high expectations for The Bone Ships! Should be great 🤞🏻

Oh man. The Testaments. I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life for it. I don’t think it’ll have anything to do with season two. I think I read that somewhere. We’ll see! I managed to snag tickets to the Cineplex live broadcast of the launch release date, so I guess I’ll find out more then!
