Currently reading:
I started Bad Mommy Tuesday night and devoured most of it in a few hours. Bad Mommy follows Fig as she buys a house to be closer to the husband and child who live there because she’s obsessed with the life that isn’t hers.
I love Fisher’s writing. Her ability to get into the mindset of disturbed individuals reads as authentic. It’s soooooo good!
Recently finished:
The Black Prism follows a world where the colour spectrum and light as energy is the magic system. Gavin is the high priest and has almost limitless power, but his way of life is threatened when he discovers he has a long lost son.
I LOVED this book. It was action packed with great characters. I’d recommend this to just about anyone looking for a fantasy novel to lose yourself in.
What’s next?
I’m falling behind on blog posts since I’ve been reading a lot of ARCs and bigger fantasy novels lately, so I’m planning on reading a few quicker novels in order to get back on track. So I’ll be picking up one of these two next (I’ll probably read both by the end of the week).
Helena Hunting has not let me down in the past. She’s one of my go-to authors when I’m looking for some steamy romance.
K.A. Tucker doesn’t know how to write a bad book. I’ve loved every single one of her books since I discovered her many moons ago. Surviving Ice is the last book of hers I have to read.

Glad to hear you loved The Black Prism! It’s been on my tbr forever and I should really check it out because the magic system sounds AMAZING. I just finished The Light Between Worlds last night and it’s left me a sobbing mess, so I think I’ll check out some fluffy romance novels today. 😛
