It Ends With Us – Colleen Hoover

It Ends With Us is a hard book to love for several reasons. Colleen Hoover, also known as the Queen of Romance, the Queen of Swoon Worthy Men, is probably the best writer of her genre so I went into this book expecting to swoon, to fall in love, for my heart to break, and be put back together again. It Ends With Us made me fell all of those and MORE. The more part is what makes this book hard to love.

Colleen Hoover is an automatic buy author for me, so I went into It Ends With Us with no idea what it was about, so as I said I expected to fall in love. I did fall in love, but I got more than I bargained for.
Lily is an amazing character. She’s full of love, ambition, understanding, and confusion. In other words, she’s a human being. She’s faced with difficult choices and does the best she can with the experiences and knowledge she has. I loved her from the first page to the last.

I don’t want to say more about this book without spoiling it. All I’ll say is that don’t read this book expecting a simple romance. Read this book if you’re looking for something more. Read this book if you’re looking for a book to change you and make you think.

Also, I love the cover even more after finishing the book.
Also, that author’s note at the end is what pushed this book to have a 5 star rating instead of 4.
