“A tragedy is a tragedy, no matter what, but I’ve learned that it doesn’t define who we are and it doesn’t weaken us. It makes us stronger.”
Forever with You is almost your typical New Adult/Adult romance. It features a promiscuous male love interest who is not interested in a relationship, the fateful meeting of the main character and playboy love interest, and the inevitable relationship that develops. However, Lynn give readers a main character who is not afraid of her own sexuality. She knows what she wants out of a sexual encounter and accepts nothing more or less. She’s also incredible outspoken and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself.
Without giving away any spoilers, all I’ll say is that Lynn took the story in a direction I seen coming from a mile away (every reader probably seen it coming as well) but she twisted the story in a direction I didn’t think she would actually follow through with. I was incredibly happy with the ending of the story despite how sad and heartbreaking it is. Lynn took the story in a direction most authors wouldn’t dare take, which is something I appreciate immensely.
Overall, Forever with You is your typical New Adult/Adult romance but feature enough twists and turns that ultimately make the story worth the read. And Nick is as swoon worthy as they come. Lynn does not disappoint when crafting male love interests and that is something you can count on time and time again.
