Finders Keep Her is the sequel to Hide and Seek Her. The sequel picks up a few months after the events of the previous book. Charlotte is trying to pick of the pieces of her heart while trying to make it through each day without Vance.
Finders Keep Her is a unique sequel in that it includes perspectives from characters other than Charlotte and Vance. Most notably, Jackson and Riley. So the story widens up and becomes more than just Charlotte and Vance’s relationship, it becomes a story of all those affected by Jackson. After the build up of Jackson Greene in the first book, it was really interesting to get his perspective. To get into the mind of such an awful and disgusting character was eye opening. Strumbo was able to make me feel sympathy for Jackson at some moments, but ultimately made me hate him even more by the end of the book.
I really enjoyed getting to know Vance away from Charlotte and Charlotte’s perspective. Seeing him so vulnerable and emotional exposed a layer of the character not present in the first book.
As for Charlotte, there’s nothing more satisfying or pleasing to read than when the protagonist doesn’t blame herself for what’s happened or is in a dark place because of it. As with the previous book, she’s in a place of understanding and wants to move on with her life.

The story is a little slow at the beginning since the first few chapters are explanatory emotional chapters that set up the various emotional states of the characters and remind the reader of the events of the previous book. But once the story starts, it doesn’t let up until the ending. And that ending will leave you desperately demanding for the third book.
Overall, Finders Keep Her is a fantastic sequel that explores a larger story and expands on many of the characters from the previous book.
